A five-member working group led by Chairman Hein Verbruggen, of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Coordination Commission for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games visited Beijing from June 7-8, 2007.

The coordination group and the related departments of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) held a working session on Friday, conducting wide-ranging communications and discussions on the issues related to the Beijing Games such as marketing, ticketing, accreditation, technology, sports for all, torch relay, media and communications, transportation, environment, human resources, venue construction, media operations, the Olympic Green, venue operation schemes, logistics, and rate card.

Through the meeting, the coordination group and BOCOG reached wide understanding on the over-all implementation of the plan of the preparatory work for the 2008 Olympic Games.
